Really nice experience! I strongly recommend!
Bastardo Hostel was my first experience being in a hostel. I shared a female room with six girls. The hostel itself is amazing, very well located close to metro station, bars, restaurants and cafes. From there I could walk to all attractions. My room was really good. All the bunk beds offered a kind of privacy, with a good space and two good showers. In my next stay to Madrid, I certainly will be there again!

the staff went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations just like my previous stay in Madrid. the customer service was excellent with Francis going the extra mile to assist in printing my boarding pass, helping with the internet, recommending a nearby salon, and even remembering my name. truly grateful!
elevator wait time was long

I stayed at Bastardo for a weekend getaway. The hostel has a trendy bar-like atmosphere with energetic staff who were super helpful and friendly. The shared women's room had ample showers, bathrooms, good lighting, and mirrors. The beds were comfortable, though a bit dusty for my OCD. The facilities were good and the location was perfect. Shout out to Francis, who made my stay the best!
Totally recommend this hotel!

I only stayed one night on my way to Barcelona, but Bastardo was a little gem of a hostel. The room layout was great, with a door code instead of keys, and the beds were super comfy. The showers and sinks were clean, and the neighborhood was cute and close to shops. The staff was helpful and the kitchenette was good. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. Great ambience and close to a metro station.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We had a wonderful stay at a hostel with a great ambience and a laid back atmosphere. Checking in was straightforward and the location was excellent, with good links to the airport and around the city. The hostel was cozy, clean, and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were fresh and of good quality, and the service was quick and kind. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace, perfect for chilling under the stars and moon. it was a great experience in a cool neighborhood with plenty of transportation options.
Can't fault anything about it. 👍

The hostel had a great vibe with a cool urban design. The staff was friendly and helpful, making you feel at home. The location was fantastic, right in the middle of a lively neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and bars. Plus, the beds in the dorms provided privacy and had individual amenities like laptop tables and charging points.
The cleanliness of the restrooms on the lower levels could have been better. the ladder to the top bunk felt unsafe and there wasn't much to hold on to.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the convenience and modernity of the dorm layout. The ingenious design of the rooms ensured good privacy, and the excellent mattress provided a comfortable night's sleep. Additionally, the drop-down table in the room was a brilliant feature for working or dining. The location of the hotel was perfect, with key attractions and the metro station just a short walk away.
There were a few aspects that I did not enjoy during my stay. I found it inconvenient that there was only one hook per bed.
